My KRX2s sound really great, awesome sound quality and its the best components I've ever used. I think the problem was on your setting on either the HU or the Amplifier because my tweeter doesn't sound bright or harsh at all. Goodluck though on your new set!

OP: JBL c608GTi Mk2 can handle that power no sweat.

Experimenting the location of the tweets is hard and sometimes easy depending on the type of vehicle. Try to aim the angle towards the rear view mirror.

OP: go with the 165VR instead of the 165V1.

Any pics of your tweeter location? I think they are close to your ear and just experiment what is the best location before doing the final install. What's the freq setting on your EQ? Try to lower the gain in your amps if you are running active or lower the tweeter x-over to -6db if using the...

The amp is sexier than the previous model/s. Interested to hear some feedbacks as well.. I hope they are stackable like the Alpine PDXs and JL HDs..
