12" Fi Car Audio Q vs 12" Stereo Integrity Mag D2(Comparo Pics)

ok nub, we've already clarified what i was talking about. i was reffering to fast response time in frequency change u homoerotica square
O RLY, tell me more about that, because thats a load of crap too.

Start with teh word "Qes" and explain....

/me waits...

rofl

hint: it's all in the system design, not the driver

well when i played somethingon my SX then played something on the mag, i was more impressed with the mag(obviously). but the mag just seem more "faster" at playing notes. and i heard the mags are more effiecient...is this true with the Q?

sorry for the nublet questions

this is a forum to learn, so dont attack people. Enlighten me please, I am here to learn as well if you have some info that i may not know

Give a 15" the same suspension as a 12" and they compliance of the 15" will be loser because of the larger surround. Its nothing more then that. I doubt the spyderz are different... that’s just silly.. O RLY?

really.

FAKE EDIT: unless they had some problems with coil rock on the 12" frame... i donnnoo...

MAG FTW!

i'll back off, but to answer your question, it really comes down to the box and frequency response. I'm no expert but imo what SQ really depends on is actual driver THD%. which is funny because most people think low excursion cheap drivers with small motor are all about SQ... they ****ing **** at SQ because as soon as you crack em... ooops, they sound like crap and at low volumes you can A/B two speaker all day long and not hear a difference if you design the same Q box for each speaker your subjectively testing. (note the box prolly have to be different) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'm sure you can't go wrong with teh mag or Q, but I admit that I don't own either. I hate to say this... but they kinda look and measure the same... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

The Rainbow Profi and Vanadium are two good examples of "low excursion, small motor" drivers, though they're not cheap by any means. And they do quite well musically, at low volumes or not //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And as far as the differences between the Mag and Q, well, they're there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Aesthetics mean nothing and specs only take you so far.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.

I do not see a problem with an addition of up to a 600 RMS Class D mono amplifier with 4 ga OFC wiring supply kit and be fine. It would be...
