2 amps powering one DVC???

I have 2 amps and want to power one DVC sub. The only problem I saw was that if I bridged them both to mono would it matter if one voice coil got more or less power than the other? THe reason I say this is becuz one amp is about 500 rms, the other 300 rms. Anybody?

dont do that, thats asking for trouble the power needs to be spilt evenly

Not only do the amps need to be the same (same model even), you must go to great lengths to make sure that the gains are matched so they are putting out the same power at the same time. Anything less and you will damage the sub.
