2010 honda accord ex-l help

I was told i could not install any after-market amps or any speakers for that matter in this car. i was told it screws with the factory bluetooth and other functions it has. i was able to run my low end with no problem. i changed out the factory speakers and replaced them with my focals, but i was not able to install the crossovers. the car has a factory amp that control's everything so i don't want to take that out. but i want to be able to controll what my mid's and high's sound like. the way they sound now is horrible. any help from the pro's.
