Ok guys, just a thought Ok but just curious.

Compared to :

Rockville RMW8P 8" 800w Shallow Car Subwoofer+Tunnel Slot Ported Sub Enclosure | eBay

Before I build another box to go behind the seat in my truck, wanting to know what you guys think of the Rockville sub/box? Thinking of getting two of the Rockville's. Would it measure up to the Alpine at all?

Had a Type R 8 in a box I built and it was impressive but the surround separated from the sub. Got a replacement and same thing. So I just want to stay away from the alpine.

Get a sa8Arguably the best 8 on the market

(Although there are several good 8's now)
Max width I can squeeze is 5.5" and this box would have worked perfect. Any more and my seat sticks out too far resulting in an uncomfortable ride

I would just go with a ported box tuned from 32 hz. - 35 hz.
