I am pretty much a noob when it comes to the whole car stereo thing but i have been trying to do my research around here when ever i can. I have already installed an alpine CDA-9885 and also an Alpine 90w x 4 amp with 4 alpine type R 5x7's. I am now in need of some bass. I listen to alot of rock and stuff like that but i also listen to rap. So i was thinking about going with a 12" Alpine Type-R in a sealed box and there Alpine PDX 600w x 1 amp. What do you guys think? Also, would i go with the 2 ohm or the 4 ohm type R?

Get a ported box, and get more power //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

Isn't the Alpine amp the same power on 2 and 4ohms?

If so get a dua;2ohm and run it at 4ohms.

I would just go with a ported box tuned from 32 hz. - 35 hz.
