amp choice 3 Saz-3500's or one SD 16k

no problems on room here whatever i get is going in the bed of my truck.. i just see one big amp like the SD could possibly fail at any time then i'm screwed till it gets repaired.. the amp has gotta create alot of heat while playing.. this is just for bass race btw. plus the SD 16k requires about 16 batteries from what i was told.. doesn't seem to be really efficient
80% eff.

1600A in 12.6V, we recommend 100Ah for each 1000W. Any decent D class amp should have 100Ah for each 1000W.

i was just wondering what you guys would recommend here.. i am currently building for 3 15's subs either wardens or mayhems or anything else i can find 4 inch coil sub would be nice also.. is anyone having problems with the 16k on music for bassrace? i'm kinda worried about the stability of the amp or do i just go with 3 sundown 3500's? i have a 16v setup with 12 powermaster batteries.
Should not be comparable at all, the Warden is neo the mayhem is not. I can guarantee you the Warden will walk all over just about any non neo sub, and possibly all other neo subs:D

why the big amp for?? you don't think it will heat up too much and fail? and you don't think running 3 amps would be more efficient? yes its more connections but its probably a lesser chance for something to fail.

^^
Not the 14k, i'm referring to running 3 4k2d's. (5500 rms @ 2ohm)

Stetsom's customer service has improved alot over the past few months with the new reps on board. Warranty is also well covered, with db-r being the repair centre.

The loudest bass racer in 2009 uses/used the small 4k2d's, so why cant you? 160db+ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
they have a 4k for 16v? i seen the specs say only go up to 15v

Why complicate a build by installing multiple units and having to use buss bars and everything else? If you think multiple amps gives you a cool factor, then knock yourself out.
Otherwise KISS factor = win

my 5 batts seem to hold up 2 AQ3500's just fine.
