Any ideas for my 2002 SE-R Spec V

I got a brand new 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V. Does anyone have any idea of what I should do to make it faster for as little as possible money wise?

Not sure on the aftermarket support for those babies as of now.. Maybe exhaust and headers, and get some nice rims and lowering springs.

Nah your fine as long as what you call lowering springs arent just the stock ones that are cut in half(trademark of a ricer lol)...but I know your not, I like Eibach myself.

I'd suggest getting a cold air intake. Make sure that if you get one, that it goes into the fender and not under-hood. An under-hood cold air intake will give you more power, yes, but it isn't a true cold air intake. Plus there's usually a 4-5 hp difference between under-hood and fender. And if you feel like it, get either a high-flow catalytic converter, or remove it completely. That should add about 10hp.

no buddy removing the catylitic converter isn't worth what you would do to the enviroment and how loud it would be. Todays cars have very effiecent convertors so the hp increase would be barely noticable and not worth the side effects mainly the one that happens come inspection time. and from what i heard a hi flo cat is only a good option if youre stock one is messed up. Remember we are not dealing with a old dinosouar muscle car but a late model import. the cat don't really rob that much horsepower nowadays

Ya get one of those that goes intot the fender ! The high flow nissan filter is much more restrictive than the half size aftermarket one you can get to go in the fender where it can **** gallons of water into your new engine , Oh by the way that is not coverd by your warranty !! I think the bill was only $5600 on the last one

noticable is the keyword...your right, even with that intake, you wont be able to notice anything. Same thing for RCA's...wont notice any audible difference between a $3 pair and a $10 pair.

You hit it but forgot to mention that f removed it will make his (SES) service engine soon light to come on , The cats on OBD-2 cars are monitored with O2 sensors in front and behind the convertor to insure proper opperation !

Heres a good one LEARN HOW TO DRIVE IT BETTER ! Proably knock a tenth of the 1/4 !!

Knowledge is much cheaper than parts !

If you truley want ot make it faster look into performance camshafts / pistons ect , Have it done by a proff and it will be awesome ! otherwise leave it alone !

Do it right or dont do it !
