One of my friends repainted his dash and doors red with brake caliper paint, then he applied a c few clearcoats i think. Im not a big fan of painting the dash trim, but his actually looked good compared to all the ricers around that just use spray paint.

I cant remember how much it cost...sorry...

yO......this is something i've been wondering for a long long time....

can you just take out your ...say dash pannels, and door pannels, and repaint them? toa color you want??

does that work?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

+ is there some kind of special paint to use?

how would you go about about changing the color of the plastic stuff that looks like leather and keeping that texture, and how woud you go about retexturizing the plastic. (lets just say i had a bad incident with krazy glue) and can you get the paint in factory colors? I want to paint my black steering wheel the color of the dash

you'd have to re do the vinyl to change the color....you might be able to dye it tho...check out http://www.carsound.com fabrication forum....they might be able to help a bit more.....do a search first tho

a buddy of mine uses an interior paint to touch up his dash and door panels I'll find out what the name of it is and post it tommorrow. I know he does use a paint sprayer and compressor for this

I wouldnt recommend painting em, they will get scuffed, chipped, etc very easily. If you dont want to buy new interior parts in the color you want, then there is an interior dye you can use, that works better than painting, but i dont know how well it will last.

You're best bet would be to get parts in the color you want. If they make that color from the factory, go to your local junk yards, and you should be able to find plenty of parts. I'm actually doing the exact same thing with my camaro right now.
