anyone heard the DD LE series prefab boxes

My local dealer started carrying DD subs and they said they have sold a bunch of the LE prefab boxes in the last couple of weeks. They didnt have anything set up to listen in the store so I will go back with a CD. From what I gather it is based on the 600 series DD subs. They have the 12" at 299 so I'm trying to figure out could I come up better or cheaper builder a box and picking

a sub, than just spending the 300?

Ive got two amp to use, a JL 300/2 bridged or an old Rockford 800a2. Both are 4ohm mono but the JL is rated right at the box 300 rms and the Rockford would be about 200 to 300 over RMS. I thought I remember that DD way underrated subs, so would I be ok using the Rockford over the JL. Again, thoughts as I havent had a chance to listen yet.

I think 40. It should play down to 30

Ive never heard a box with a tuning that high, but also really never used ported subs either. Most subs ive listened to had tuning in the lower 30's. Again, havent had the chance to listen to the box yet

That's lower than most prefabs. Good thing about DD subs with their box designs, they can play well below tuning.

The only LE I've messed with was the 6 we put in a CRX to see what it would do. Didn't sound anything like a 6.

I have 2 of the DD LE308s (8" versions) that I use in my shop on my sound board. They sound great in the shop. I put them in the back part of my extended can sonoma on a powerbass xa900d @ 2 ohms and did 146.8 dbs at 39hz. They flexed the windshield a little too
