Hey guys, I actually got around to hooking up my mids and highs and I noticed there was a raspy type of sound coming out of my speakers when playing music. I don't know if its my mids or if its my highs but I will let you guys know when I go about disconnecting each one.

I was playing "In for the Kill" just to test them out and it wasn't so much of the mid range that was giving me the raspy sound, more in the higher frequencies when she started to sing. I don't know if its either me tuning it retardedly or something.

I'm running 2 Crescendo MP6s and 2 Crescendo XST2s on a MB.Quart 4.125, along with a JVC KW-XR610 Head Unit.

That's nothing but an annoyingly common phrase to try to sound smart. Don't say "gain is not a volume knob" until you can explain how it differs...
