HOW TO PREVENT A XS POWER 3100d FROM SWELLING.

If you wait 12+ hours and your engine is still hot enough to burn you then there is other underlying issues there.
All cars while being used build up a lot of heat under the hood. There is no two ways about that. Some may have more/less heat over different times, but in the end it is gets very hot under the hood.

With that said, I still never had that issue with batteries even in my turboed cars.

Also it happened under.. "special?" conditions. Middle of the summer, doesn't drop below 98-100 during the night. and it was 7 hours wait time. hawt oil. Yea our "webmaster" has been slacking and has not fixed some of the recent issues lately. Perhaps he will get some energy and get it done soon lol..I get tons of emails asking for pics of our work and such....

Yeah I wouldn't doubt your swamped, trying to go for an "indestructible" box.. If you remember //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I sold that system, gave him the box for free and told him to please get a new one. 2 days later he calls me and said it shot an Aero port out in the back of his suv lol. yet, somehow, being almost free air for 4 months on clipped signals. The SAs are still beating...

that was pretty interesting. Agm batts have a pressure relief valve thats supposed to keep them from popping. But the heat must have made the plastic give away before the valve did....
