how to run an audio and video deck

wut connections would i have to go through to have a deck for audio (right now i have the sony cdx-8815) and add a video deck so i can view movies and play ps2 but use the same sound system?

You need an auxilliary input, I believe the 8815 has a built in input already, so all you would need are some RCA patch cables.

those cables would be all i need to link the two decks together to play the video deck thru the audio decks speakers?

yes, run the audio part of the a/v cables to the aux input on the audio deck, and run the video part of the a/v cable to your screen. You'll have to switch to "aux-in" on the CD deck to make it work though
