I am thinking of getting a compustar alarm from sears.com. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/s_10153_12605_Automotive_Car+Electronics_Remote+Starters

I just don't know which one I should really get.

My car is a 99 Hyundai Elantra. I have had two smash and grabs in just over a year. 1 for a pair of $50 shoes, the other time for my whole system.

New system is going to be installed soon and I want to get an alarm.

I think I am going to install it myself since I use to be a mechanic, installed my system before, and don't feel like spending $500 on the car. Just paid the deductible:mad:

I am definitely going to add a glass sensor and motion sensor. I don't care about remote start or keyless entry.

So I guess my questions are:

What alarm would you recommend? I am trying to keep it around 150 - 200.

And, does anyone know of any difficulties installing alarms in this car?

Thanks

If you can find these in your area. Id recommend these for drop ins. They play from 40Htz on up. Sound very nice on amplified power for premium...
