Panosonic VS Alpine VS Pioneer VS Eclipse

Umm the only "high quality" Panasonic HU I can think of is this one:

imo Pioneer has very good HU do you even know what your talkn about panasonic Hu's arent that good i will stick with panasonic for camcorders //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Interesting, guy.....never seen one of those. is that on the stateside market and is it Double-DIN or 2.5 DIN? Looks bloody huge...
Double-din -- can only be found in JDM-land. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

But still acquirable in the States...

I think they are all great brands and have different looks and features to offer. Why diss them just b/c you prefer one over the other?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Panasonic makes good HU's....but not top notch. They leave A LOT to be desired as far as internal processing goes. Even they're TOP OF THE LINE mainstream HU doesn't have an internal 3-way active xover.

I agree with you but just because it doesn't have an internal xover doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't sound good or have good reliablility.

I would NOT however put Panasonic with Pioneer or Alpine in means of quality. But to each his own.

Alpine is out, pioneer is out
Panosonic and Eclipse are taking over high quality HU's
I've yet to meet a panasonic I like, although the one Takeabao posted is intriguing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

You obviously have a lot of experience to vailidate your statement.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Sales figures?

Pioneer cuz......always been around, always had quality units, always had decent SQ, actually mine has terrific SQ.....looks better than all those , but tied with ALPINE, very simple to use...unlike ALPINE, to many toggles to get through, pioneer str8 2 tha point...peace
