Which is more crucial?

(1) soundproofing the holes in the inside door.

(2) soundproofing the steel in the doors.

Soundproofing the holes in the rear deck crucial? I have a small Pontiac Sunfire and don't have much money to soundproof but I just found some real inexpensive stuff (Powermat 10 sq ft for $10) on ebay.

And I'm looking for material to angle my 6x9s (maybe 20-30 degrees forward) in my rear deck like semi-firm foam or rubber to help the direction of the sound. Not having any luck finding any.

Personally I would stay away from the dirt cheap sound deadeners. They will end up causeing you more problems then just paying for better stuff. Cheaper deadner tends to smell, not apply well and not have the same density as the higher end products.

Those are super nice!! I may have to go that route if by chance they don't fit.
