USDM Legacy 2.5GT 5EAT Sportshift Gear RatiosI know it has a 5eat. i have a 4eat.I didnt think even with those ratios it would top out over 160-ish.
I've considered it but the rear diff would grenade for sure. Although it would be easily replaced without having to match gear setsare many of the subi guys trying to pull the front drivetrain shafts out? it would make for less parasitic loss on the motor.
3.5" dp 3" mid pipe and dual 3" pipes with 4" tips.. no cats just two dynomax bullet mufflers.. its pretty loud. But remember the with the wastegate wide open its straight dumpNice.
That car is retarded loud though.
Is it really that loud or is it just because it is in the garage?
sti has superior drivetrain.. i would start with the sti platform unless you feel like upgrading a trans once you start putting down decent power. Basic wrx i'd stick with less than 400whp .. anything over an your starting to push the limitssince you subi peeps are here, on a sidenote, is it cheaper to make a wrx with mods faster and handle better than a sti or just buy the sti? price comparisons?
With the price of sti's coming down so much (can get a 04 sti for ~15-16k) you are better off just buying a sti.since you subi peeps are here, on a sidenote, is it cheaper to make a wrx with mods faster and handle better than a sti or just buy the sti? price comparisons?
thats ridiculous. Is this also a daily?
my car. tanabe ultra medallion 3" cat-back. It is resonated also. and a catless up-pipe. stock downpipe atm.
