* Trevor's 2010 Audi A4 Trunk Build. Sundown. Fi.*

Hey guys first off sorry about the MIA but back now and the build is complete! (for now).. Picked up the box today and just screwed the sub in with T nuts wired it in and was ready to go. Unfortunately I rushed and pierced the surround when screwing in the last screw but it is a small whole and I have not noticed any defects or air passing. Should I seal it with something, get it fixed, or is it something to not worry at all about? I will upload a bunch more pics and a video tomorrow but for now I will just show you guys 2 spoiler pics.

It still sounds fine in the dash but I think you would get better balance if they were in the A pillars or aimed. Thanks for following man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You punctured the sub or the speakers surround?
either way just dab a little goop on it (inside and outside preferably)
Yeah I put a small hole in the sub's surround when i was screwing it in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif. Also I forgot to keep track of which terminal was positive/negative so I kinda had to guess when I connected the back terminal. Would it be easy to tell if it was reversed polarity?

Put some silicone on the surround to prevent further damage.

Use a AA battery to determine speaker polarity. Connect the leads to positive and negative, accordingly. If the speaker moves OUT, you guessed correctly and your wiring is fine. If the speaker moves in, they are backwards and you have reversed polarity.

How do you like the LC2i?
It ended up working perfectly for my situation so I would recommend it. No complaints //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
