I have a 04 Grand Prix GT. I will be traveling to Toronto March 10th to get a nice little turbo put on. are you reinforcing the bottom end at all? Or can the stock internals take that?

Yes I have been to the Clubgp forums. As far as I know I will be the second 04 with this install. As far as the stock internals I was worried about it also. I have talked with the person that had it installed and they have had no issues. This kit is a direct bolt on.

which motor do you have in that grand prix? alot of people that have the 3800 series motors do supercharging with excellent results.

I have the 3800 series III. The first test vehicle was a 04 GTP. They took the supercharger out and installed the turbo kit. I talked to the guy with the install today and he is driving daily with 11psi and has had no problems.

the 3800 is a variation of the grand national motor. some of the best motors built. they will take a beating and laugh at it. my friends grand national is in the works to be running at 21 psi this spring and thats on a 125xxx mile block that is in perfect shape. when we yanked the heads to see if the motor was up to the task, there was still crosshatching on the cylinder walls! another kid has a buick regal gs running 12.40s with some mods on the supercharged motor. good luck with the project and be sure to post pics/vid when its done!

You are right, those 3800 series engines are some of the best ever built. I will definatly be taking some pics and vids. March 10th can't get here soon enough.
