what subs should i be looking at?

Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong section, I am new here. So I had two Kicker CVR 12's with a ****** autotek 1500w amp (pretty sure that is a ****** brand). I sold it all and am ready for a new start, I am a bit tight on cash so I am looking for something under $500 for a sub and amp combo. I am thinking one 12 or two 10's. Right now I am personally leaning towards a single 12" type R in a dual ported box. No idea what amp to get for that setup though, any input would be helpful. Thanks guys.

I have a first gen XFL, dual 4 ohm coil, I gotta break even on it so best I could do is $145+shipping. Coil is nice and shiny, in great all around condition

i would get that alpine mrp 2000 and a cheap beefy 15 inch sub SoundQubed HDS315 if you want to stay in budget and get pretty loud.
