When do PIONEER head units clip?

I got a friend that had two JL component sets in his car and he could turn the radio all the way up and it was crystal clear. If I've heard right, should you heard clipping?
that's because JL is the best //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I've confirmed it with an oscope on numerous Pioneer HU's. Set your gains on volume 61/62, they ALL clip @ full volume.
Mine goes to 0. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Did you actually scope the HU itself without the amp in the way of the signal?

Is this on any of the 4v
models
