If it were that simple, I would have tried that..hence the reason for the thread. Maybe I should be more specific. Will the 6.5" clear the door panel? (6th gen GP owners know what I mean)

Has anyone with a sixth-gen Grand Prix (97-03) ever tried fitting 6.5" speakers in the FACTORY front door location with 5 1/4" openings? Or should I just buy q logic kick panels and throw the 6.5" in there? Thanks

Has anyone ever tried these 3 ways? CL-6E42 - CDT Audio 3-Way 6/4/1" Component System They look good for the price "to me" and Im trying to find a nice set of components. I've only had experience with 2 way comps so I'm new to the 3way idea. Also how should these be placed as far as location...
