As title implies. When and where?

My favorite enclosure calc. says that one 3" round port needs to be 4.75" long. When I input two ports... it says port length = 12.16 inches. Does that mean that each port needs to be 12.16" or do I make 2 ports and split them for a grand total of 12.16"? Am I trying to make a total of 12.16"...

2009 Dodge Journey. REQ factory HU. What are the connectors that plug into the factory HU called? Also, what are the ones that plug into the factory harness. I need to plug into the HU and I also want to plug into the connector that originally plugs into the HU. Thankyou in advance.

I think Dodge has done a good job with their stock units. It plays DVD, Mp3, and Windows media. It also ties into the bluetooth of the cell phone.

Id leave it alone and go ahead with install. Have your camera rolling when you first turn up the volume and if it cracks, youll have a video to demonstrate your "Awesome" system.
