He's right, you cannot beat the sound quality of a JL sub!! A 12w6 would sound great in there! No matter what sub u go with make sure u adjust the crossover so that u get the sound u are looking for!

Wow, I've owned both of these decks and I can tell ya the both are Sweet!! Although the 9853 has only 2 volt pre-outs. The one thing I HATE about the Eclipse is their remotes are very slow, other than that the Eclipse is a nice deck. Are you getting another Eclipse? $150 shipped is a good deal!
