Well my mechanic found the problem, he used a dmm on amps and it was 3.40. So he removed all the fuses and didn't drop so he looked at my alt and played with the wires and the amp draw went to zero. He's not sure if they came lose or touched but there is no draw for now. Weird.

I thought it was my alt acting up again because my jumper cables weren't working so had it towed there, found out the battery was completely killed, but my jumpers weren't working well either. Funny thing is the night before, i ordered the kinetik and next morning my car doesn't start....go figure.

I hope they are meant for car batteries because i have one coming tomorrow and my car is sitting at my mechanics with a dead battery.

I just got one off millionbuy for 154. Shipping was 25 or something, but that's new. Hope it works out well though, seems everything caraudio wise i buy online blows up. Just throwing that out to you, not sure how cheap you want to go on it.

If you are going to sit with it parked and not running a lot, a good battery is needed. If you are driving around a lot while the car is running you will need a good alt. A battery really doesn't have purpose once the car is running.

Just found out he has SVC not DVC so i guess that could be set at 2ohms in series.

Yeah i don't want him to run it on 1ohm because it isn't 1ohm stable. So the most he could get out of them is on 8ohm on series? . I better tell him to sell the subs and get the kicker l7 dvc 4ohm so he can run that series to 2ohm. I think thats right..no? Er, by looking at that pic he can get...

I'm having a brain fart or something because i'm lost. A friend of mine got my amp(kicker 1000.1) he wants 1000 watts out of it so it needs to be ran at 2ohm. He has 2 dvc 4ohm subs. I've been seeing people saying it can't be done and it can but the sites like crutchfield show on their displays...
