except that it's only 12 volts, at that potential, your body's resistance draws very little(negligible) current, but don't try the same stunt with 120v, or you'll most likely ruin your night lol
it can't hurt you, the spark wasn't a high voltage arc, but a spark from the heat of a lot of current flowing through resistence aka the small SA of contact on a terminal. you could hold a wire in each hand and be fine, just go try it right now.
this is the most honest answer to give, exactly what i was going to say. i never had someone tell me how to wire my subs.
If you find an amp that can handle one ohm then go one ohm, think the lower the impedance the harder the amp can/must (ohms law look it up) at a give output voltage there...
Let's here some stories about about how some Defective on delivery ebay purchases turn out.
I recent bought an amp that was described as: "good used condition. The amp is used so there is some wear and tear from normal use but nothing major. The amp does have small scratches to the body. The...
no matter how many thing you disconnect, the caps in the amp are gonna have to charge, and therefor draw a ton of current. The only way to stop it would be to reconnect it with a resistor in series and quickly take out the resistor and reconnect the correction normally, all pointless. Just touch...
