inverted sub magnet

Actually, just a regular magnet can screw up a few devices, for instance the tire pressure monitor system in my Jeep. The driver information center says, "please remove magnet from spare" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif. Usually you should be alright.

It's no different inverted than it is mounted normally. The magnetic field is not affected in any way. The only difference is that you can see the magnet. The wood of the enclosure doesn't do anything to dampen the mag field or contain it.
x2. Magnetic field isn't large enough

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage
