Type R setup, which one?

So I'm pretty sure I'm going to be getting 2 12" Type-Rs. I have all Alpine speakers, so I'm going to get Alpine subs. Anyways, I don't know which amp to get. I'll be getting the 2 ohm, or 4 ohm version depending on the amp. The 2 ohm subs get 2 hz lower than the 4 ohm subs, so that's a plus.

Personally, I've heard good things about Audioque, but I don't know how trustworthy buying from their site is. I've already had stuff ordered from woofersetc, so I'm comfortable with them. Also, the Hifonics 1610D give's me some breathing room if I ever wanted to run down to 1 ohm. The only problem with Hifonics is that I've read they shut off at 1 ohm, but obviously that won't be an issue with the 1610D since I'll run it at 2 ohms.

Or better, if you can find me a PDX 1.1000/MRP-M1000 in that price range, I'd praise you.

Audioque is a trustworthy site.

I liked my brutus (good budget power) as well but it doesnt have anything on the audioque. So either the bx1600 or the audioque depending on what u wanna spend.

Audioque has some of the best customer service...shouldn't hesitate to buy from there. I have two AQ 1200D's great amps should push the arghhhs well.

Audioque is an excellent company. My dealings with them have all gone extremely well and the customer service is fantastic. I'd go with the AQ over the HiFonics any day.

i would get 2 4 ohm type Rs, wire them to 1 ohms and get the bxi-1600d. they will be able to take that power.
