Ok, now that it has been getting insanely hot and my viper is mounted in the trunk I am having a problem. When I get into my car and crank it up and turn on my system, the viper is in protect mode, I assume it does this because it is hot as hell in my trunk. Anyways has anyone ever put a fan on their viper and if so, what size fan and how did you hook it up? I am new to the whole put a fan on my amp thing so any suggestions/instructions would be nice!

Thx! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

just open it up. get a few of these;

and hook them on the inside of the amp to the REM terminal, and the ground. but just to be safe, id hook your REM line into a relay and then out to your amplifiers if you got several items off the REM wire.

but its quite simple. mounting? just use a hot glue gun, and glue the corners of the fan down //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

these would prolly be even eaiser to fit inside the amps

take the bottom of the amp off and use plexiglass both so u can view the amps internals and you can cut it to put fan(s) in
Thats what the gaming pcs use in the side pannel since its plexi glass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Be sure to see the sub specs. It should tell you the ideal sealed enclosure size.
