You will be fine with the 4 gauge up to about 1000w depending on wire length, 400 watts will be fine with the wal-mart kit, which I have in my car right now.

The only reason Audiobahn is a good beginner driver is because it's shiny and has flames, soo you can sell there $600 1000 watt amps that aren't any better than $220 ones to unsuspecting beginners.

You are right, the model # determines what ratio battery and capacitor it is, and unless you are having dimming problems, I wouldn't worry about electrical(except big 3) just yet.

What kinda power does that thing take and how much for amp/sub.
