Low watt amp sounds louder than higher watt amp

this helped me a lot! I appreciate it. The JL is now enfuego. However i did have to set the gain kinda high like 3/4 to get it to the right voltage according to the manual and that video

All the gain is for is to match the output of the amp with the output of your signal

3/4 is fine

glad you solved it. Rockford usually needs very little input signal compared to a lot of other amps.
