    *cough*cough* big 3 *cough*

Thanks for the response. I went ahead and did it anyway a couple days ago.  Like you said I figured it couldn't hurt, and I already had the material.  It made a minimal difference overall, but it helped a little bit.  The engine ground probably helped the most, that was just a insulated ribbon...

    *cough*cough* big 3 *cough*

Thanks. I've got 0 gauge as my main line that splits to a 4 & 8 jumper to the amps. No clue what type of metal honestly. Running somewhere just over 1200rms on some a kicker zx1000.1 & 350.4.  The 350 is set for 4 ohm bridged.  Matching grounds.  Brand new 2400nex in the dash that I've...

    *cough*cough* big 3 *cough*

It has been a really long time since I've been here.  Pretty stupid question really.   Got a new car, systems all up and running.  Just waiting on some new rear fill since ones blown.  Anyways, doing the big 3 this morning because I got a small amount of dimming, not much really. I'm piecing...

Audiobahn - How to convince someone that they really are awful

Awesome analogy. I say let them do what they want. You gave your piece of mind. Some people simply need to learn from experience. If they go out & do things their way & have problems, they'll be more likely to listen to you in the future.

    How did he do this?

touchscreen computer - BestBuy Either that or yeah prolly a fake. At the 1:00 mark the song changes & starts playing before he actually selects it.

left componet speakers no longer work

Take the speaker wires at the amp out and switch the channels, so when you fade left, the right gets louder. If the dead channel moves to the passenger side comp, you need to look at your amp & the rca wire. If the drivers door still stays dead then you need to be looking at the comps...

Why isnt my setup doing this?

    Double post.

Why isnt my setup doing this?

If it's hooked up at the under hood fuse box positive terminal, moving that to the batt + is something you should do like yesterday. I fried a VW Jetta that way and ended up scrapping the car, rewiring everything was just too much work. Also, you have a Saturn, like me. Just be aware that the...

    Mounting Speakers in Door

Just because you can doesn't necessarily mean you should. Don't those blocked over speakers sound all muffled? To me it just looks like all your doing is vibrating your door panel.

Comment by 'GreenBook' in media '08 Challenger'

Re: 08 Challenger I am seriously jealous. Is that a widebody kit, or just the camera angle?

A complete sound system under $1000 , need help!

If you don't know how to install yourself, you should really do some digging on this site and around the web for how-too instructions. Usually you can find vehicle-specific forums with audio sections. In the long run it pays off to not be lazy cause it'll save you money for gear; and later on...

    Help with my amplifier

The amps overheating and doing a safety turn off to protect itself from damage. If it's a cheaper amp it most likely has bad heat dissipation. Pretty common and normal occurrence. You can either learn to live with it; not bump for sustained amounts of time; buy a better amp; move it somewhere...

What is the truth about using foam, such as great stuff

I used it with moderate success on a previous car I had to minimize plate buzz, but my setup isn't exactly on par w/ BL's. Really there's probably more effective methods. The stuff is messy and I think it took like 2 1/2 cans for about 1 cu. ft.
