The P600 is black all the way across while the P6000 has silver buttons around the Rotary Commander. I'll put my vote in for the P600 because of the warranty and the USB cable, which is not included with the P6000.

This is more of an issue with him getting the sub off eBay than buying a JL product, in my opinion. See if someone local can troubleshoot and/or repair it, otherwise look at more affordable options that don't carry the price tag of a W7.
