Just curious how much you paid for these when new. I was offered them from Sundown for $450 each 2 weeks back and that was including shipping. Did I get a great quote or did a dealer charge you too much?

I installed my old VI a couple weeks back for a small stereo show. The young guys loved it! Hit 144 with a sorry box and SQ subs. What is great about the old VI, VII and VIII's is they perform good all the way down to 11.5v. You can shoot 15v or more to them and they don't do any better...

80-2.6L 4ME 81-2.8L 5ME both were SOHC They were respectful in their day but both are weak by today's standards. Still fun to drive though.

I have read rumors about Zed not making amps in the near future. He only has the Deuce in stock for now. But, he just insured me that new amps will be made in the coming months. No exact date, but for sure. I am happy to hear that because Steve is a legend in the car audio world.
